Pesticide Prevention

Reflections

My topic for my exhibition was the use of pesticides in Tanzania and the rest of the world. I learned so much during this process of the exhibition. I learned to be a better thinker, to be more principled, and to be more open-minded. Almost all of the learner profiles I have improved in. I used to not know that we should cite your sources, but now I know something I will need to use in the MYP. In some parts I was stressed, but later on I knew it was part of the learning process and it was okay to be a bit stressed at times. When I did feel stress it made me think of how the other kids were dealing with stress and frustration, and that made me more open- minded. When we were presenting I was very scared if anything would go wrong. In the end I told myself that there was nothing to worry about and I conquered my fear of speaking in front of big crowds of people.
